New Way of Playing Together


Ahhh, so much Chaos! But we are PROGRESSING, so that is promising.

So with our current approach to get everyone to play together with each other we have had a few bumps in the road. Mostly, no one is playing with anyone :D. We are working on ironing that out one small step at a time.

It started with joining our Discord Server and everyone just asking for everyone's Playstation ID. While that worked to an extent, it was messy and cluttering. I felt like I kept seeing the same 5 messages pop up, and it got tiring really fast. So we came up with a new idea (which should of been brilliant). We would use the built in Playstation Community and everyone can join that and see everyone else playing.






The problem with this is that the PS4 Community doesn't function quite up to the standard we expected it to. It doesnt always show when someone is playing in the "Now Playing" portion of the community. That wouldnt be a major game breaker if the Member's list showed us who was online or offline! So now we dont know if someone is playing, because for some reason that part of the community is broke and we dont even know if someone is online so we can invite them to play with us.

THAT IS SOMETHING WE ARE GOING TO TRY AND REMEDY.

So starting today, we would like to introduce to you the newest Discord Channel "Now Playing Channel".



It is a simple system. If you get online to play a game, simply enter the "Now Playing Channel". No need to talk or anything like that, I actually have my mic muted in the above screenshot. You can enter it on your Mobile or Desktop, however you need to. This lets people visibly see you on a list of people currently playing. This way they can then find you on the Community players list and send along a message about joining up together.

You could always post up something in one of the discord text channels, but this is the 1 way you are sure people will see you are looking for someone to play with.

Weekly Theme Challenge #1


Welcome to Theme #1

Certain week's we will request that your video highlight submission be of a certain variety. This week's clips from CoD:WWII must include the use of.... the Throwing Knife! That's right, inside your video highlight you must kill someone with your throwing knife equipment. It can be a sick challenging throw, or a simple throw with something cool after. As long as it includes the use of a throwing knife for a kill somewhere in it. This week's timeline spans from 11/29/17-12/11/17.

North American Squad


This is going to be a simple, straight to the point Blog Post.


The Undead Revival is a North American group of gamer's. While we may accept anyone and everyone, we can only stretch our connection's so far. With the primary game we play being Call of Duty: World War II and its P2P matchmaking, it becomes a struggle to keep consistent lobbies when we have people from the UK or farther playing with us.

With that said, we are more than happy to accommodate "Far Distance" player's. But when connections in lobbies become an issue we may need to split off and play separate for a bit :P.

In all honesty, If you are looking for a clan and are from anywhere outside of NA.. you should probably keep looking.

Carentan


If you're a boots on the ground Call of Duty Veteran, you'll know the map; Carentan. It is a classic map that has been featured in may iterations of the franchise. It made it's debut in the original Call of Duty game released on PC in October of 2003. Since then it has been included in Call of Duty: United Offensive, Call of Duty 2, and soon to be Call of Duty: World War 2 (details at the end of this post). 


It has also been in multiple other Call of Duty games as well including Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare as a re-imaging named 'Chinatown', in Black Ops 3 the map Infection was partially made from Carentan and it was also included in Modern Warfare Remastered as 'Chinatown'. 




Sledgehammer Games is making Carentan available Day 1 for Season Pass or Digital Deluxe Edition holders and will be live when the games release worldwide on November 3rd 2017.

uR X Fortnite



We are now officially TWO weeks away from the Launch of Call of Duty: WWII. What does that mean?? We are still playing other games until that day arrives.

With that said, we now get the title of this Blog Post. uR x Fortnite.

Fortnite is a free to play PS4 Battle Royale style game. It falls in line with games such as H1z1 and Player Unknown's Battlegrounds. However what makes it different is a few thing's. Firstly, it is ON PS4! That makes it the first Battle Royale type game to hit Consoles. Secondly, it features BUILDING. Thirdly, it is more of a scaled down version of the 2 games mentioned above.

If you are interested in Playing this game with a Squad, join our Discord server and let us know. There are some of us playing this and Destiny 2 whilst the TWO week countdown is on.

uR x Destiny



A Small but flourishing group of Destiny players.

Our group is looking for some more players to help claim some rewards. Destiny 2 has implemented a "Clan" system, and with that comes extra rewards. We currently have about 8 or so people who play every now and then, with at least 4 280 + players.

We earn the weekly Nightfall & Crucible engrams. If you are interested in joining just for those alone, that is perfectly fine. However, if you want to join up to try the raid, there are a few [uR] member's who would love to try it out. As of this writing,  nothing in the raid has been tried.

Its a no pressure system, join the "Destiny Clan" on Bungie's site and reap the rewards, don't even have to play with us if you dont want too. Or join the "Destiny Clan" on Bungie's site and conquer the Cabal alongside us in battle. Whatever you feel more comfortable in doing.

Welcome to the start of a Beautiful Relationship.

So glad you found this place! This is going to be the home for all future information in regards to our gaming group, The Undead Revival. We have been a constant group since 2009, whom previously used Forum's. However forum's seem to have become outdated, so we made the move to Discord.

Our main focus with this community is to build our Discord, as a means of keeping in touch even when we aren't killing enemy infantry together. You can join our Discord and say hello by clicking here.  The website that you are on now can be used for people who need to know more about us, or gain additional group knowledge. We will post Blog posts throughout the week about new info regarding our group, the games we play, and anything else we think might pique your interest.
